Pollo a la Disaronno (Armaretto Chicken)

Pollo a la Disaronno

You can make this deliciously simple dish either with Disaronno or with Armaretto (Almond) flavouring (you can use one of those coffee syrups), also it’s great if you add mushrooms too, but even on it’s own like this, this is supremely yummy!

2 chicken breasts

tsp. finely chopped garlic

1/4 tsp. crushed red chillies

1 tsp. of Mizkan Seasoned Rice Wine Vinegar (you can substitute any light vinegar)

1 tsp. olive oil

1 tsp. butter

200ml single cream

100ml Disaronno (2 tbsp. Armaretto/Almond syrup)

In a pan heat the butter and oil, add the garlic and chilli and simmer for 5 minutes on a medium heat, careful to avoid high heat. Add the chicken breast and cook for 3ms both sides. Remove chicken breasts, add vinegar, Disaronno/syrup, stir, add cream, stir and return chicken breasts for 2ms either side, then serve!
