Hot Pimento Stuffed Olives with Picante Sweet n Hot peppers

Olives with garlic and sweet n hot peppers

I tsp. chopped garlic.

2 tbsp. olive oil

1 tsp. Sarsons vinegar.

100g olives

100g Picante whole peppers

I don’t know about you but I do get a little sick of over priced olives (I’m an olive addict so it can get pretty costly!), just for the sake of a delicious dressing. So I bought a large jar of cheap pimento stuffed olives and proceeded to do the following!

I started to doing this because currently I’m addicted to Padron peppers which are advertised as mild with the occasional hot one. Now I have eaten packets of these babies and not one mildly hot one in sight. And then I got to thinking, its the heat and the salt I really like!

So in a pan,  slowly heat some chopped garlic in some light olive oil with a teaspoon of Sarson’s vinegar. Scoop in olives and picante whole peppers and heat for 3-4ms. Serve hot with a good sprinkling of sea salt. This way I get the hot, salty and the kick I’ve been looking for! 😀
